Hello!

I live in Kiev, Ukraine. I have Skoda Popular 927 which was made in 1939. Engine is from Skoda 1200, original one not survived.

Gearbox (převodova skřin) and rear axle gears(skřin Zadní náprava) are single mechanism.

1. What modern spark plugs(zapalovací
svíčky) are better to be put on Skoda 1200 engine?

2. Chassis number of car not survived too. I want to know, where shold it be written, how much symbols are there and what is the font size? I think, someone here can know the logic, according to which these numbers were built – approximately what number could be in 1939?

3. What modern gear oil is better to pour into the transmission?

Thank you very much! Information about spark plugs and oil is very useful!

I pose these questions because the car is being reconstructed,  I got it in very bad state, and great work has been done. Unfortunately it is hard to get such information here to comlete reconstruction.
